WORK PLAN

1) Organize press briefings, workshops, seminars, symposia and other forms of campaigns.

(2) Sponsor a bill through the National Assembly. The bill will advocate for stiff penalties for persons or companies manufacturing, importing or distributing adulterated and substandard good/services.

(3) Advocate the establishment of small claims courts. These courts are expected to ensure speedy redress of cases brought before them by aggrieved consumers rather than wait for decades to get judgment in normal courts of law as experienced in some cases in the past.

(4) Identifying with PLWHA. (People living with HIV/AIDS)

(5) Awareness campaigns and seminars on HIV/AIDS.

(6) Conduct research into specific HIV/AIDS and consumer problems.

(7) To be in the forefront of social and legislative advocacy that will effectively recognize the rights of PLWHAS and also guarantee them access to treatment.

(8) Establishment of Nanny Academy.

(9) Establishment of a Computer training center.

(10) Establishment of a cyber café for revenue generation. (11) CRAL has entered into a financial arrangement with Saint Leo’s Catholic Church in Lagos where it offers free computer training programme to unemployed youths who desire to acquire useful skills to help them in life.

(12) CRAL is currently panning a Nanny academy programme designed to take many ladies off the street. It is also aimed at discouraging child labour.
